Job: Referee – Adult Volleyball League

Starting at $25 per hour

Days & Hours

Wednesday and Thursday evenings 5:45pm-10:15pm (Hours may be shorter depending on league needs)

Regular Season: Late October – February
Tournament: February – March

Nov 25,26; Dec 23,24; Dec 30,31; Mar 24,25

Job Requirements

• Officiate volleyball matches according to established rules and regulations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure a positive and respectful environment on the court.
• Communicate effectively with coaches, players, and other officials.
• Monitor game conditions, including player safety and court setup.
• Make quick, accurate decisions on rule infractions and scoring.
• Manage conflicts and disputes during games.
• Record and report game results and any incidents that occur.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Previous experience as a volleyball referee or player preferred.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make impartial decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle conflicts diplomatically.
• Physical ability to move quickly across the court and maintain focus for the duration of the match.
• Certification from a recognized volleyball officiating body is a plus.
